1. Description
Quartz sand filter is generally used as the pretreatment of reverse osmosis equipment and ultrafiltration equipment, mainly to intercept and adsorb sediment, colloid, metal ions and organic matter. Common filter materials include quartz sand, activated carbon, anthracite, manganese sand, etc. It is widely used in agricultural irrigation, chemical industry, petroleum, metallurgy, industry and mining and other industries.

3. Application
(1) It is used for industrial water, domestic water and municipal water supply systems that require effluent turbidity ≤ 5mg/l and can meet drinking water quality standards;
(2) Removal of suspended solids and solids in industrial sewage;
(3) It can be used as pretreatment equipment in ion exchange softening and desalting system, and coarse filtration equipment of industrial water supply with low water quality requirements;
(4) Used in swimming pool circulating treatment system, cooling circulating water purification system, etc.
4. Feature
a. Compact structure: the equipment integrates coagulation reaction, filtration and continuous cleaning. The water treatment process is simplified, the floor area is small, the structure is simple, and the installation and operation are flexible and convenient. The energy consumption and labor management cost of multiple links of raw water treatment process are reduced, and the operation difficulty is reduced.
b. The effect of coagulation reaction is obvious: the application of coagulation reaction mechanism and sedimentation mechanism can effectively remove suspended solids and colloidal substances in the water, which is conducive to further reducing the turbidity of callose effluent in the sand filtration area.
c. Continuous self-cleaning filtration: the filter media automatically circulates and is continuously cleaned without shutdown for backwashing.
d. Reduce the suspended solids (SS) content of raw water: with the micro flocculation device, various industrial water, urban domestic sewage and industrial water with the maximum SS ≤ mg/l are used as reuse water, and the removal rate is ≥ 90%, achieving perfect filtration effect.
